2nd International Forum on Cognitive Modeling (IFCM- 2014) is hosted in town of Izola, Slovenia.

Izola - a small ancient picturesque town with developed infrastructure and popular seaside resort, situated on a pure Adriatic coast in Slovenia. It is calmer and less pompous than Portoroz. Izola is between Koper and Piran. The place is charming - narrow medieval streets, cozy houses with red tile, mild climate, spectacular seafront promenade with a string of shops, restaurants and yacht clubs. Additional decorations of the seafront are yachts moored in the harbor. Izola - watersports center in the country (windsurfing, yachting).

Each summer Izola hosts numerous festivals: music, art, jazz, sports, dance, gastronomy. There are many monuments of ancient history in the town - Besenghi degli Ughi Palace, St. Maurus Church, Manzioli Palace and other sights of the Venetian Gothic architecture and Baroque style. St. Maurus Church XVI century bell tower - an architectural symbol of Izola.

Thermal springs are opened in the suburbs of Izola. The town is connected with transport to neighboring coastal towns and Ljubljana, also Croatia (Istria) and Italy (Trieste, Venice). Shopping is better in Koper and Trieste.
